Ok Go - In the Back Yard, Dancing

Never even heard of the the band before, but as well as a great song, this might be the best pop video ever. Via Music For Robots, who also has links to lower def versions, if you need it.

I think it's the look of utter concentration on their faces that makes it so touching. What a lovely thing to find.

I see no spoons though.

An excellent point, as ever. I'm sure their second video will be all about the spoons.

That's just so good! It reminds me of the videoed Macarena competitions we used to have as teenagers. Obviously much better though.

Oh thanks James - that's so wonderful. I can't help but try and guess who play what in the band - I reckon the fella in the burgundy vest plays bass.

Like POE, I've been a fan for a while. Not a very vocal one though. The intro of "What To Do" was used in Wimbledon (the film), which can't be good.

Oh, what to do is a classic slice of cheese! Have you seen the video for 'Get over it' James? I think you'd like it.

Alas I have not. Do we have a link?

I love 'Get over it' as well, haven't heard any of their other stuff tho, I did however buy a compilation CD for that one song, luckily most of the rest of it was quite good too.

I saw this video today by The Young Knives and thought of this blog postage.
I thought you may appreciate the dance routine about half way through.
